Life GroupsAt the core of the church for discipleship, Bible discussion, support, prayer and ministry growth. |
WorshipOne of the pillars of our church. We express our love and thankfulness to God and are inspired as we gather to worship corporately. Our Christian life is to be an overflow of a heart of worship.
Childrens MinistryOur passionate leaders support the important and primary role of parents to encourage and disciple children to know God personally. They aim to help children be part of the church and take an active role in it by using biblical, relevant, child focused curriculum that invites personal faith and growth.
The following groups meet on Sundays during the morning service. Youth MinistryWe want to provide a fun, safe environment where young people can grow in both faith & service. Young people love to hang out with friends and get real about following Jesus. Mainly Music A chance for parents and their pre-schoolers to enjoy music together and meet new and old friends. The regular meetings will continue at Riccarton Baptist Church on Mondays, beginning with a meal at 6:30pm , from 14th May. Chinese ClubOur aim is to provide friendship and activities to Chinese people in the Riccarton Community. There are about 30 people who regularly attend each Saturday afternoon. Some people like playing cards, chess or mahjong. Some like drinking tea and chatting, singing or dancing together. There are also Chinese newspapers, table tennis, magazines and Bible studies that are available. We are also able to plan day trips to places of interest at least twice per year. A Night at the Movies - Sisters EventIt's our first event of the year so we are kicking off with a stunning tale of a very courageous young woman who gives of herself in incredible ways. Under extreme and dangerous conditions she helps nearly 2,500 Jewish children to safety in the face of Nazi opposition. This true story of Irena Sendler is called "A COURAGEOUS HEART" Merry Christmas - Sisters Event
